6.10pm CPE Speaker  Ed Lette on " Business Banking - Changing Regulations and Technologies"

Ed Lette CPA  is founder, president and chief executive officer of Business Bank of Texas, N.A., which serves customers in Austin, San Antonio and Victoria. Serving as a licensed CPA since 1983, Ed’s extensive experience in the banking industry has led him to become the founding president of four national bank charters including Business Bank of Texas, N.A., and the chief financial officer of five national banks during his 45 year career,.Ed served as director of the Texas Bankers Association District 4, chairman of the Executive Advisory Council to the School of Business at Texas Lutheran University, and is a life member of the Texas Association of Business.

7.10pm CPE Speaker Alex Mendez on “The Business of Large Scale Solar”

 Alex Mendez attended St. Mary's University, where he earned a BBA in Entrepreneurial Studies and an MBA. During his MBA studies, He helped start the solar company that eventually merged with Ontility, a full scale engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and distribution company.  During his time at Ontility, he was the Director of Project Development and oversaw all aspects of bringing a solar project to fruition.  This includes financing, design, engineering, procurement and contracting.  Alex is currently the Managing Director of Solar Advisors, a solar consulting company, and also the Director of US Sales Operations for CSUN Solar Inc., a multinational solar panel manufacturer.  He currently focuses on supply contract execution and negotiation for utility-scale solar projects.
